On November 30th, KAGC hosted a webinar for Korean American midshipmen and cadets at the United States Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy (West Point), and U.S. Air Force Academy in collaboration with the Korean American Midshipmen Association and its mentor Mr. Thomas S. Kim.
With more than 30 participants who hail from a dozen states and dialed in from different time zones, KAGC went over the history of the Korean American community and inter-connection between public policy and daily lives. Based on the talk, the participants broke into small groups to share their own Korean American experience and shared with one another their personal reasons why civic engagement is so important to our community.
We appreciate the continued partnership of the Korean American Midshipmen Association and the selfless service of these proud midshipmen and cadets at the service academies.
