Capitol Hill Engagement

Bridge between the Grassroots and Capitol Hill

KAGC serves as a bridge between the grassroots and Capitol Hill through the aggregation of our community members to participate in active civic engagement with their members of Congress. KAGC’s Capitol Hill Engagement programs also empower our community to exercise their voter rights, and thereby expand the awareness and presence of Korean Americans in the decision-making process at all levels of government.

Impact

The Capitol Hill Engagement Program has made a profound impact on Korean Americans by providing them with a platform to voice their concerns and become involved in the policy-making process. By engaging directly with members of Congress and offices on Capitol Hill, program participants have made significant contributions to key Korean American issues and have shaped policies that will have a long-lasting impact on their community. This program will continue to strengthen the relationship between Korean Americans and their elected representatives, and enhance the overall civic engagement and political empowerment of the Korean American community.
