Please join us in congratulating all friends, supporters, and alumni of the Korean American Grassroots Conference among the 2020 NAAPPPA 40 Under 40 List.

Each year, the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics & Public Affairs selects top 40 AAPI political operatives and public affairs professionals under 40 to highlight the young AAPI professionals working behind the scenes of American politics. This year’s list includes Kellie Chong, former participant of the KAGC U programs and KAGC intern, who now serves as the legislative correspondent for Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and the Senate President of the Congressional Korean American Staff Association. KAGC is incredibly proud of Kellie’s amazing growth and commitment to serve her community both at home in Alaska and on Capitol Hill.

KAGC extends heartfelt congratulations to Kelly Boyer, Chief of Staff for Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH), who has shared her time and insight at the 2019 KAGC National Conference, 2019 KAGC U Leadership Summit, and several other occasions. Ms. Boyer has recently been elected to the advisory board of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Staff Association, as well.

This year’s list also include Ethan Shim, who provides advice and support on technical systems to the Massachusetts state, county, and local government agencies. As a native of Virginia, Ethan has supported KAGC programs since 2015.

KAGC applauds all other friends on the list who have supported us as a volunteer and other means over the years. Check out the full bio on all 40 honorees at this link.
