Transcript of the Message:

Hi, I’m Congressman Rob Woodall. I represent Georgia’s seventh congressional district in metro Atlanta.

First, I’d like to thank the Korean American Grassroots Conference for its incredible leadership. And our community of the 7th District is home to over 25,000 Korean Americans, and I know each and every one of them and all of us in the community benefit from the dedication and hard work of the KAGC.

We all know the vital role that Korean Americans play in the American economy. And as such we know how hard hit they have been during this public health crisis, especially those who own and operate small businesses.

But I want each one of them to know that help is on the way. Last week Congress replenished the depleted funds of the Paycheck Protection Program, and we processed over 1.6 million loans so far, saving over 30 million jobs.

If you or your family is in need of assistance of any kind, I encourage you to contact your member of Congress. Members and staff are here to serve you and provide you with any information that you may need.

Again, I want to thank the KAGC for all that they do and for allowing me to be with you here today. Our nation is brought together and made stronger by the KAGC’s efforts. I hope each one of you will be safe and your family will be well. Thank you.
